| So, we moved into that farm in hopes we could turn our lives around. Things hadn't been going well in the city and Ancel was really struggling in school. His dad and I thought it would be best to get out of the hustle and bustle and find a slower pace in the country. I had to give up my arcane studies and dedicate my efforts to getting the farm to produce. Things weren't easy, it was hard work, we were living off scraps for quite some time. Each time Raimond thought he was having a breakthrough, inevitably, something would go terribly awry. That's when we decided it would be best if I resumed my pursuit of the arcane. I've been travelling, improving my abilities, and supporting my family by offering my talents to those with the coin. |
